CityFolk is located at Lansdowne Park, which is a world-class attraction that blends modern amenities, courtyards, heritage buildings and green space. This urban public destination is situated right in the heart of city.
You can walk, bike, bus, or drive to the festival! Your transportation options are listed below.
WALK
From Bank Street, turn east onto Marché Way or Exhibition Way. Keep right once you encounter Aberdeen Pavilion/TD Place Gate 3 Staircase to access The Great Lawn festival gates.
From the Rideau Canal multi-use pathway, turn west at the controlled light intersection at Bank and Fifth Avenue, and follow the path on the other side of Queen Elizabeth Driveway. Once you reach the park, keep left to access the main gate across from Aberdeen Pavilion. The gate is about a 7-minute walk from the pathway entrance.
BIKE
The City of Ottawa has a great map of cycling connections to Lansdowne Park. The multi-use pathway along Queen Elizabeth Driveway has a controlled light intersection at Bank and Fifth Avenue, where you can cross and connect to the Lansdowne Park cycling path.
We will not have supervised bike parking this year. There are over 600 bike parking spaces around Lansdowne available for patron use.
BUS
OC Transpo services are FREE to and from the festival with a PAID ticket. Show your purchased CityFolk ticket to board transit from 3 hours before gates open and 3 hours after the final performance ends. Use the OC Transpo Travel Planner to chart your journey.
OC Transpo has service on the 6 Greenboro / Rockcliffe and 7 Carleton / St-Laurent routes during event hours. Both routes pick up and drop off passengers on Bank Street.
When boarding the O-Train, use the video chat function on ticket machines at O-Train Line 1 stations to request access through the fare gate.
ParaTranspo/Accessibility Drop-Off Location: Paul Askin Way at Exhibition Way
